ECTN Services

ECTN is another form a waiver document and stands for Electronic Cargo Tracking Note. You may have heard of Loading Certificate which is similar to the ECTN document. These waiver certificates are official documents that contains information relating to the cargo and recording its movement between ports. Certain This allows us to effectively control, supervise and manage import/export traffic of the goods. Each ECTN must be applied and validated at the loading port and are fundamental for the import customs clearance upon arrival.

Waiver documents have full details of the exporter/ importer, shipping method, type and value of goods being transported, and other shipment details. Your shipment will be penalized and ECTN will not be issued if you miss the certification deadline.

In order to file for ECTN application we need the following documents:

• Chamber of Commerce
• Ministry of External Affairs
• Embassy

Any carrier who loads and / or unloads cargo that is not covered by an ECTN shall pay a regulation fee equivalent to the price of the ECTN plus the regularization fees.
